The Judith House

United Christian Services, Inc. is in the process of developing a shelter, school, and transitional home facility staffed for an exceptional emergency 24x7 shelter, foster home, respite care, and safe house for runaway children as well as abused, neglected, and abandoned children and adolescent program. This facility is now in progress and will have a Staff bedroom, an office, a large living room, kitchen, family room, and several other bedrooms with 2 sets of bunk beds in each bedroom. This facility will be able to take as many children as we can on a temporary basis. If the need arises we will be able to place additional children through our network of Licensed Therapeutic and regular Foster Parent homes ensuring a loving supervised living facility for the children.

We will provide immediate safe shelter with follow up medical care, and for some of these kids this may be the first medical care they have received. We will provide a homelike environment and arrange crisis counseling, as well as offer anxiety and stress management, teaching basic life skills, a myriad of behavioral interventions, including anger management skills
